Yuki Judo Started Term 3 with 5 New Yellow Belts

Yesterday at Yuki Judo, we started Term 3 with our first 5 students receiving their 5th Kyu (yellow belts).

They have taken their grading exam during the school holidays where they had to demonstrate different skills and techniques required to receive their new rank.

Congratulations to our 5 Judokas in achieving this first milestone in their Judo learning path!

We have finished another year!

Last week Yuki Judo had its last class of 2020. No doubt it was a challenging year for everybody but in spite of that, we’ve kept training via our videos and online classes.

Happily, at the end of November we managed to come back to our Dojo and resume our classes sticking to our COVID management plan and enjoying training Judo together again.

Yuki, the name of our Dojo, means Courage in Japanese and it’s one of the Judo core values. Judo is a really difficult martial art, it takes time and dedication to make progress and many times is scary and challenging.

I wanted to share these two videos I’ve prepared for our brave Judokas showing what we do in every class.

Looking forward to resuming our classes next year, I wish you all a great 2021!

Open Judo Live Session Thu 7/5 4pm AEST!

Yuki Judo is having a Free Online Training Session for Kids this Thursday 7 May at 4pm (AEST).

The session is for young Judokas from 7 years old onwards and is going to be a live version of our video classes.

All the video classes, as well as this live session are free and no registration is required. Just go to our Online Judo section to get the Zoom ID for the session or to watch the video classes.

Kids who haven’t trained Judo before are welcome to join the class, but is better for them to do some of the video classes beforehand to have an idea of what’s coming.

Look forward to seeing you on Thursday!
