Yuki Judo was at Strathmore North Primary School last week, running a Judo workshop for kids from year 3 to 6.
Amazing experience and wonderful kids!
As part of the school’s Japanese program, the kids received from Yuki Judo a Japanese vocabulary list and learned about the history of Judo, its principles, Judo etiquette and what we do in a regular Judo practice.
After warming up, everybody practiced Ukemis (breakfalls i.e. safe landing techniques), Nage Waza (techniques from standing) and watched other Judo techniques demonstrations. A big Thank you to the School and teachers for the opportunity and congratulations to all the participants, everybody has done a great job!
